Paul Golitzin
Biographical Sketch
Paul is the Winemaking Director for Quilceda Creek. He has been instrumental in driving the quality of
Quilceda Creek into the forefront of the wine world. His influence has led to Washington State's first,
second, third and fourth 100 point wines. All achieved within an unprecedented six year time frame.
Paul's passion to make great wine started when he visited France at the age of 15 and fell in love with
the industry. Mentored by his father Alex Golitzin and his grand Uncle Andre Tchelistscheff, Paul took
what he had learned and developed his own style utilizing the best the region has to offer. Rich, ripe,
complex, balanced wines that taste great upon release, yet can be cellared for 20+ years are hallmarks
of a vintage Quilceda Creek Cabernet Sauvignon.
"A great bottle of wine is one that keeps your interest from the first glass to the last, leaving you
wanting more."
Paul is married to Lori and together they have a daughter, Maya.
