Paul GolitzinPresident & Director of Winemaking
Paul Golitzin is the creative force behind Quilceda Creek's vision to produce one of the world's greatest Cabernet Sauvignon wines. He is the President and Director of Winemaking, and son of the co-founder, Alex and Jeannette Golitzin. Paul has been instrumental in driving the quality of Quilceda Creek into the forefront of the wine world. His influence has led to six, 100-point rated Cabernet Sauvignon wines over a thirteen-year period. Paul's passion to make great wine started when he visited France at the age of 15 and fell in love with the industry. Mentored by his father Alex Golitzin and his great Uncle Andre Tchelistcheff, Paul took what he had learned and developed his own style utilizing the best the region has to offer. Rich, ripe, complex, balanced wines that taste great upon release yet can be cellared for 20+ years are hallmarks of a vintage Quilceda Creek Cabernet Sauvignon. "A great bottle of wine is one that keeps your interest from the first glass to the last, leaving you wanting more." Paul is married to Lori and together they have a daughter, Maya.
