Palengat Vineyard

Palengat Vineyard is a family-owned vineyard that is located in the Horse Heaven Hills AVA named after our proud French heritage. Palengat is the maiden name of our co-founder, Jeannette Golitzin. This vineyard was planted in 1997-2002 on Sagehill (fine sandy loam) series soil at an elevation of 700-800 feet above sea level. Palengat is on an ideal south facing slope on Phinney Hill, adjacent to our estate owned holdings at Champoux Vineyards. It is 8.5 acres in size with 59% of the vines planted at a high-density of 2270 vines per acre. This site allows us to make wines that are dense, full bodied and complex.
