Winemaker's comments

The Columbia Valley Red Wine is a blend of lots from young vineyards, Cabernet Sauvignon from established vineyards that did not meet our increasingly stringent requirements and Cabernet Franc and Merlot grapes from old vineyards that were in excess of what we wanted to blend into our ultra-premium wines.

The Red Wine has the aromas of cherries, almonds, vanilla and spice with the corresponding flavors carrying through on the palate. It is a classy medium bodied wine to drink now and over the next several years and represents an excellent value in today’s wine market.
